Your privacy is important to us

This privacy policy forms part of UpMyStreet's terms and conditions. Once you have registered on this website you will be deemed to have read and accepted this privacy policy.

UpMyStreet believes your right to privacy is important. To run an efficient, effective service, however, we need to collect and use certain information about our users.

Use of cookies

During the course of any visit to UpMyStreet, the pages you see, along with a cookie, are downloaded onto your computer. Most websites do this, because cookies allow the website publisher to do useful things like find out whether the computer (and so probably its user) has visited the site before. This is done on a repeat visit by checking to see, and finding, the cookie left there on the last visit.

Any information that is supplied by cookies can help us to provide you with a better service and assists us in analysing the profile of our visitors.

Sage Metrics, an independent measurement and research company, gathers non-personal data regarding the visits to our site on our behalf using cookies and code which is contained in the site. Both the cookies and the code provide non-personal statistical information about visits to pages on the site, the duration of individual page view, paths taken by visitors through the site, data on visitors screen settings and other general information. UpMyStreet uses this type of information to help it improve services to its users.

To disable the code contained in the site, you will need to send requests directly to http://www.sagemetrics.com/popup-dynamic.asp?pagename=privacy_main.

Further information regarding Sage Metrics privacy statement can be found at http://www.sagemetrics.com/popup-dynamic.asp?pagename=privacy_main.
