  • I've forgotten my password
    If you've forgotten your password, visit the password reminder page to request a reminder to the email address you registered with.
  • How do I change my password?
    For security reasons you cannot change your password once you have registered your details. If you have forgotten your password, visit the password reminder page.
  • How do I change my email address?
    In order to change the email address you log in with, log in to the site with your existing email address, and go edit your profile where you will be able to change your email address.
  • I can't log in
    If your email address and password are correct, but you still can't log in, you may need to set your internet browser to accept cookies. A cookie is a kind of identification card which enables a website to recognise your computer if you've visited before. Read our guide on how to enable cookies. If you're still having problems with registration or logging in, please contact us and we'll do our best to help.
  • I haven't received my confirmation code / my confirmation code doesn't work
    If you haven't received your Conversations confirmation code, or it doesn't work, please contact us and we will resolve the situation. Our apologies - the confirmation codes can be a little cranky sometimes. We will get back to you very quickly.
  • How do I unsubscribe from your newsletters?
    To unsubscribe from the UpMyStreet mailing list, please go to your profile, and select 'no' under the Newsletter option.
  • How do I add / amend my business listing?
    The data in the FindMyNearest…™ section of the site is provided under licence to us by Market Location. To add a listing, please complete the add a listing form. To amend a listing, please complete the amend a listing form. UpMyStreet receives monthly data updates from Market Location, which means we should have the updated entry on the site within 4-6 weeks.
  • The price you say this property was sold for is wrong. Can you change it?
    We receive the property price data from the Land Registry. In the event that you find incorrect details of a property sale that has taken place, they request that you contact the Land Registry directly using their enquiry form. They will then be able to investigate and update our records appropriately. We receive updates on a monthly basis.
  • My property is on the market. How can I add it to your site?
    The properties we feature on the site for sale and rent are provided to us by Propertyfinder.com. They do not accept listings from individuals, only from estate agents and property developers. However you may wish to contact them directly at sales@propertyfinder.com for clarification.
  • I disagree with my neighbourhood profile.
    Our ACORN neighbourhood profiles are provided to us by a company called CACI (www.caci.co.uk). The information you refer to is one of 56 standard neighbourhood profiles. The type given for your postcode is not a specific description of your area, but a description of the 'type' your postcode has been categorised as. It is intended to illustrate likely consumer preferences and behaviour, taken as a whole, and does not describe a specific locality nor its residents. However you can also contact them directly.   • Why don't you cover Northern Ireland?
    Unfortunately a large number of the content areas that make UpMyStreet a valuable site, such as Actual property prices, are composed of data not currently available for Northern Irish locations. As such, we are unable to include Northern Ireland in our services at present. However we are always looking to extend and improve our services, and we hope to be able to help our Northern Irish customers in the future. In the meantime, if you need statistical information the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research agency may help, or try the Northern Ireland Neighbourhood Information Service (NINIS).
